Residing in the south where termites are a major issue, my answer was it’s always advisable for a buyer to really have a termite inspection. While they are typically required by the lender, technically in Georgia, a Termite Bond is not needed to sell a property. However, I always do my due diligence and guide my buyers to acquire a brand new or assume an existent bond.
